P2P is a marketplace for small and medium size software and IT service companies (“Tech service companies”) who are looking for additional revenue opportunities to connect with clients who are interested in hiring qualified expertise at a lower cost. Tech service companies need to sign up for the P2P service and create strong company profile on the platform to become visible to clients. Clients also need to sign up for P2P services to post their jobs on the platform.

You can sign up for P2P marketplace by creating a company account. From the home page click on Find jobs. Account creation requires a mobile phone number and a company email for verification purposes. Once you have a company account, you will be able to create a comprehensive company profile so your company can be found by clients for opportunities.

There are three simple steps for talent companies to utilize the P2P hiring platform:

  • Create a company account.
  • Create strong company profile to represent breath and scope of the company.
  • Add company employees (tech talent) profiles to the P2P hiring platform. This step is optional if company only wants to be visible by the company profile.

Once company profile is available, clients looking for additional expertise to augment their teams can find the expertise that they are looking for, connect with the company rep. , and interview and hire the tech talents or outsource their projects to the tech service company.

We get paid when you get paid! Creating accounts, accessing our private messaging and video communication tools, interviewing for opportunities, and getting hired for a job are all free. When you get paid by clients for the job that you are doing, we will charge 5% of the payments made to you. There are no subscription fees. No transaction fees. No hidden fees.

Initially, P2P is a marketplace for small and medium size software and IT service companies in South Asia (companies with <500 employees) and small and medium (SMB) client companies in the other regions (North America, Europe, Australia) who are looking for software and IT expertise. In the future, we may expand the platform to other industries and regions.

P2P is focused on connecting small and medium size software and IT service companies (companies with < 500 employees) with small and medium size client companies who are looking for software and IT expertise to augment their teams. We are not targeting freelancers who are looking for opportunities and are not seeking large-sized companies. Bottom line, we offer a marketplace where small and medium size companies on both sides can connect and clients can hire the tech talents that they need.

Tech service companies get a new channel to find opportunities in other countries for additional revenue. We give them a voice. Their companies and their expertise will be advertised on the P2P marketplace for free, giving them exposure to clients. We will also advertise on LinkedIn and other social media platforms for the aggregate set of expertise that our tech service partner firms offer.

Clients will be able to find highly qualified, verified and vetted tech talents at half the cost of the same talents in their own countries. The tech talents are employees of tech service companies. They have been interviewed, reviewed annually, and have been working on client projects for many years.

Clients can conduct a search for expertise that they are looking for. When they see a profile that they like, they can use P2P’s messaging and video utilities to directly communicate with the tech service company (through company rep). Conversely, tech service companies can conduct a search for jobs and when they see a suitable job, they can get details for the job and apply for it.

The tech service company rep., by definition, is the individual who signs the company up for P2P services. They are generally expected to be senior-level decision makers in the company (e.g., CEO, COO, VP of HR, etc.) with a broad view of the company’s resources and their commitments. The company rep. can create company profile add or remove tech talent profiles through the company’s admin console which can be found under my account.

Tech talents are limited to working on two projects at the same time. The projects may be for the same client or two different clients.

The tech service company rep. needs to negotiate an acceptable statement of work (SOW), appropriate pricing and a payment schedule with the clients. P2P will be sending reminders to the clients when a payment is due and can be used to send the payments from clients to tech service company at no additional cost to either side. Basically, clients transfer the funds to P2P and P2P transfers the funds to the tech service company. Pricing, payments, and all financial matters are negotiated between clients and tech service company rep.

P2P extracts the logo (if any) and the company background description from the company account to showcase the tech service company on its website. This is primarily for marketing purposes.

P2P hiring platform offers the following tools and resources at no cost to its members:

  • A private messaging tool which gets activated as soon as the two sides are connected.
  • A real-time video communication utility with screen sharing for clients and their tech service companies to communicate and collaborate.
  • Up to five hours of free consultation to clients to facilitate the working relationship between clients and their tech service companies.
  • Document templates such as NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), SOW (Statement of Work), and SLA (Services Level Agreement) to facilitate the business relationship between the two sides.
  • An international payment system to facilitate payments from clients to tech service companies.

The admin console is available to tech service company reps. It can be found under My Account when they log in. Using the admin console, they can:

  • Add or remove tech talent profiles.
  • Set pricing for the tech talents.
  • Set availability for the tech talents.
  • Get an overall view of projects and the associated resources.

The Dashboard is for you to view and manage opportunities with clients. Through the dashboard you can communicate with the client, respond to client’s requests, receive and process notifications, change a tech talent’s status (e.g. interviewed, hired, completed project), and so on.

The Admin Console is more of an internal tool for you to organize the resources, add or remove tech talent profiles, set pricing and availability for your resources, and so on.

If an employee who is working on a client project abruptly leaves the company, the expectation is that the tech service company rep. would implement a replacement plan as soon as possible. The replacement plan may be as simple as identifying another employee on the team with the same skills who is available to take over the project—or hiring a temporary resource.

Once you have identified a replacement tech talent, you must log in as the “Company Rep.” and use the “Admin Console” to make the following changes, in that order:

  • Create a tech talent profile for the new replacement talent if one does not exist.
  • In the Project Association Table, replace the tech talent who has left the company with the new replacement talent.
  • In the Talent Table, remove the talent who has left the company.

In rare cases where a company rep. is leaving the company, it is expected that a senior executive from the talent company would contact P2P via support@jobpairing.com to introduce the replacement individual. We will make appropriate changes in the account to include the replacement individual, after the expected verification.

It’s between the client and the tech service company as to what documents are needed. The typical documents may be an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), a Statement of Work (SOW), or a Service Level Agreement (SLA). These are part of the negotiations between the client company and the tech service company rep.

When a tech service company creates a P2P account, we follow a rigorous process to verify and vet the company. Here are some of the steps that we take:

  • Verifying that the company is a legitimate legal entity in that country. For example, in India via the MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) search.
  • Digital investigation through Google, LinkedIn, social media, and the company’s website (if any).
  • Phone and email verification of the company rep.
  • Interviewing the company rep. and/or CEO/Owner, if needed.

  • Verifying that the company is registered in its respective country.
  • Digital investigation through Google, LinkedIn, social media, and the company’s website (if any).
  • Checking with Better Business Bureau for U.S. based companies
  • Checking with local Chamber of Commerce for U.S. based companies
  • Phone and email verification of the company rep.
  • Interviewing the company rep., if needed.
